The Smith GDA is a 13-week summer program that allows students to expedite their path to the CFE. Students who complete this program are qualified to write the CFE within fifteen months of completing the GDA, which is one year earlier than if they followed the standard CPA Canada route, and also benefit from not having to study while working.
